Angela, Reagents (Small Scale Manufacturing)
Angela joined Genzyme as a QC Scientist. She was attracted to the company as she wanted to put her academic experience, gained through her degree in Biotechnology, into practice. Six and a half years on Angela likes that every day is still different and challenging. More>

Jonathan, Manufacturing Support
After finishing his PhD in biochemical engineering, Jonny joined Genzyme as a manufacturing scientist in 2005. In addition to providing production manufacturing support, Jonny has had many opportunities to use his engineering skills in the production facility, working to improve processes and practices. Furthermore, his involvement in several product transfer and business management projects has been encouraged right from the start of his Genzyme career. More>

Nicola, Sales and Marketing
Nicola joined Genzyme Diagnostics straight from University. She hoped that the job would allow her to apply the knowledge learnt during her Biochemistry degree whilst taking her career in a direction that she had not previously considered. The thought of mixing science and the commercial aspects of business appealed to Nicola and she is still enjoying the challenges four years on. More>
